Turning Within

As we move into the dark part of the year...

Living in the part of the world where a Celtic culture flows with a pervasive and gentle undertow, the importance of turning within feels very real. The storms that narrowly skimmed the East Coast of the United States have been pulled over the North Atlantic to Ireland and Scotland. It has been named storm Amy and promises a decent amount of rain and wind. Schools are closing and everyone goes home early for the weekend without much fuss. Respecting the weather and safety of people happens without a second thought as people move to hunker down into their stone buildings to ride out the storm.
